In this exclusive workshop with Mark Nelson, master printmaker and photographer, explore Photopolymer gravure a printmaking medium that produces beautiful, rich prints prized for their unique tonalities, textures, and depth. In this four-day, hands-on workshop, participants will learn to create plates from start to finish and how to print them. Mark will teach the “double exposure method,” which allows students to complete a plate in less than an hour! In this workshop students will learn how to make perfect, defect free plates that have incredible tonal ranges and very fine detail. No plate-making or printmaking experience required.
